Kung fu shoes!

yeh, so i bought tt pair of black flats for aqilah. my dad said, "ehhh, new kungfu shoes?" lmao.

my dad took the day off to stay home and keep and eye on the construction workers hacking my toilet. saddddedzzz. 3 days need to do everything at my parents room.

they started at like 9 friggin am and began drilling and stuffs IT WAS SO NOISY I HAD TO WAKE UP AT 11. headed to orchard with thoughts of getting a new shoe for my younger sister. my belated birthday treat. she needed a pair anyway, unlike me hahaa. i still want moar shuuz.

settled for a pair of black crotchet ballet flats from New Look while me and eldersis tried on several pairs of heels. walked around but nothing caught my eye. boohoo.

and had brunch at LJS. nomnomnonm. headed back home and watch a lil of music ban before heading out to work again for me.

Happy 15th Aqilah!

headed across the causeway with my sister, bearing in mind that we need to buy a cake.

luckily i still have $$ so i changed SGD50 for RM115. me and sister had a feast! as soon as we came, we had lunch at the foodcourt. my sister, being adventurous yet picky had oysters while me being thrifty and interesting, had fried vermicili. yum.

walked around and i decided to buy a pair of shoes. well, i needed 1 anyway for lab sessions. (heh, gr8 excuse eh?) tried a few pairs that didnt fit. till i settled on a pair of Vans. checkered boat shoe! for RM90 which is prolly around SGD40.

idc of it's authenticity as it looks pretty decent for a pair of Vans. so, WHO CARES. not me! :D

had japanese food after that, and i notice i'd always have soft shell crab temaki every single time. thank God natto was outta sight.

reached home, had guests over and we read a few prayers, keeping arwah Cik Su in mind before cutting the cake. aqilah cried! my dad cried too i think. d'awww. that aside, the cake was heavenly.

meringue coated soft sponge with peach and fresh cream being sandwiched in layers. 80RM WORTH OF JOY.

happy 15th aqilah! hope you grow up into a smart, fine woman! SHOW EM THAT HAVING DA DOWNZZZ AIN'T BAD AT ALL! 8D

Happy Birthday, BROTHER + COUSIN!

went for module selection today during lunch and the transition from 1st to 2nd year is pretty scary and it sure is a big jump.

im just worried about the end of this semester. results scare me.

right, so it's the 11th Jan, it's my brother's 22nd bday and reyhan's 21st bday! HAPPY BDAY GUYSSS! the first in the family ehhh?

so today, i bought my brother a cake. well, not really. a peach strudel. pretty yum. and i shared money with my parents to get pizza! my dad found some leftover party streamers spray can and we wrote HAPPY 22! on the mirror.

gave and recited a prayer before cutting the strudel. InsyaAllah, 2010 will be a good year. k, tts all. im in no mood to do anything but sleep. bye.

Pit 32C

bbq with the paternal side was friggin great!

when we arrived, it was right after a rain. our area was wet and ew. pitched our tents and cleared the area.

slowly, the other aunts and uncles arrived with food and what nots. the mothers were preparing the food and cleaned the area while we kids helped out with pitching even more tents because they were camping there overnight.

which then hit me. i haven't really slept anywhere else but home. and those hotels when im overseas. i hardly attend chalets and bbq camps or so. perhaps, im not much of an outdoor person. oh well. not at the mo, i guess.

there weren't much to photograph around the area. i didnt want to use eoshi to take the people there. i'd leave it in terry's hands. with eoshi, i wanted to take the sunset, waves, people fishing, sky and stuffs. but the weather was gloomy and dull through out. even the sunset wasn't magnificent enough. how disappointing but i managed a few shots.

left at 1am or so. wished we could stay up overnight. i couldn't sleep in the car! prolly too full from all that junk. we had the usual bbq food. gotta cut down on all that crap together with carcinogens! though carcinogen has yet to prove that it causes cancer, it stills plays a teeny role in developing cancer. dayum.

1st (family) Drive.

my sister borrowed uncleAhmad's car for the day and we went all over singapore. mmm. from the west, central and east. (Y)

in the afternoon, picked and sent Jeyd up and drove a lil and went to Yishun Dam to eat paus and take in the sea breeze. my first time there. pretty cool place! i wanna go there again eh.

at 2, got changed and headed to GESS (GanEnSeng) for Aqilah's dental checkup at the mobile clinic and we drove off to Chinatown to meet father at work. walked around and i got told off by a shop owner for almost wanting to take a photo of this display outside his shop wtf. geez.

so anyway walked around summore and picked father up and headed to Capitol's Bata to get my father a pair of shoes as a Xmas gift from my sister.

finally made a move to East Coast Park's Lagoon area for our breakfast/lunch/dinner. it was a weeknight, and so packed! had to settle at a small table and we ordered satay, sting ray, chicken wings and stuff. was too engrossed to even photograph our meal!

after a heavy dinner, drove off to look for our bbq pit for this weekend and the sky...the stars... it was magnificent. it was so starry. it really lit up the beach. i'm so gonna bring eoshi and my tripod there. nope, i will not take pictures of my cousin whatsoever. dude, 50mm yo. =_= maybe can attempt...star trails? :3

went home finally and dropped brother off at Tamp and slept in a car. nowwww i know how it feels like to have a car in the family. but $$...srsly. so fkn expensive.

Miserable bowl.

finally went bowling with my family to kinda just have fun celebrating my mom's belated birthday and my parents anniversary.

headed to Safra at 7ish and played pool, waiting for my father. i am not good at pool BUT ITS SO FUN. aqilah's a natural and my mom is...pretty good.

once my dad came, brother's friend joined us too. to sum it all, I SUCK AT BOWLING. guess whut, even aqilah scored better than me. i got a miserable 38 and aqilah got 40 points. WTHALE.

so clearly, i am not good in sports which requires hand-eye-brain-whatever co-ordination. i'll just stick to badminton thank you.

bowling was reallllly fun, a great way to bond. aqilah's bowling skills are just tremendously SCARY. if anything went wrong, the size6 ball would fly backwards, and not down the aisle, hitting the pins. scarreh.

all's good, and we had dinner at Pastamania. yummeh. thanks for the treat sissy. PICSPAMMMMMMMMM!~~~~~~~~

Hari Raya goes BUS 2009

hari raya bus this year was happy and fun! ahahaa.

the bus was almost full house! tak sangke eh. but there'll be empty seats always. its okay, im waiting for the next raya, hopefully everyone's present. insyaAllah. :)

tho there were few houses and such, it was still fun. last house this year was at Marsiling, the 3sissies place!

tho it was cramped, everyone couldnt care less because they kept commenting on the meimei next door. naughty girl. she almost spitted on me.

i loved reyhan's cookies! and cikAmah's asam pedas! i wanna play with taro! COME TO YISHUN NOWWWWWWWWW -2yrslaterkkthxbai HAHA.
