Happy 15th Aqilah!
headed across the causeway with my sister, bearing in mind that we need to buy a cake.luckily i still have $$ so i changed SGD50 for RM115. me and sister had a feast! as soon as we came, we had lunch at the foodcourt. my sister, being adventurous yet picky had oysters while me being thrifty and interesting, had fried vermicili. yum. walked around and i decided to buy a pair of shoes. well, i needed 1 anyway for lab sessions. (heh, gr8 excuse eh?) tried a few pairs that didnt fit. till i settled on a pair of Vans. checkered boat shoe! for RM90 which is prolly around SGD40. idc of it's authenticity as it looks pretty decent for a pair of Vans. so, WHO CARES. not me! :D had japanese food after that, and i notice i'd always have soft shell crab temaki every single time. thank God natto was outta sight. reached home, had guests over and we read a few prayers, keeping arwah Cik Su in mind before cutting the cake. aqilah cried! my dad cried too i think. d'awww. that aside, the cake was heavenly. meringue coated soft sponge with peach and fresh cream being sandwiched in layers. 80RM WORTH OF JOY. happy 15th aqilah! hope you grow up into a smart, fine woman! johor trip was okay. you know i get agitated when my parents argue over the slightest thing and i always "scold" them back and wakmah was like, "same mcm sarinah...kalau wakmah dgn wakdawam gaduh...macam gini lah nti sarinahh..."lulz. our main visit to Johor was to go to minikelantan, to kota tinggi plaza to collect my mother's RM1.1K transition glasses. ceh, mcm mahal gitu. padahal tidak. ahaha. she got the dopest, limited edition violet frames. cool sia. my dad also went to made a new pair of glasses. and wakmah went to buy 2 frames too. 1 plain simple one, and the other a funky red metalic frame with bubbles. LOL. im bad at describing. aqilah is such a pain in the butt at times. ergh. once at woodlands customs, ibu, ayah, oj and wakmah took the cab while i took the bus to kranji and trained home. hooray for concession! oh yeah, in the bus kuning on the way to johor, i finished reading Romeo and Juliet (in modern english) so... ERGH. like finally, i know the real story. k, sorry lah. i havent been a very literature person. so anyway. ROMEO IS FREAKIN STUPID. AHHH JULIET. omg. idk why they call it the saddest love story ever. its so twilight-ish. no, meyers used the same concept for twilight. like how juliet is bella, romeo is edward, balthasar is alice and paris is jake. T_T i wish there's a shakespear play or something. i wanna read macbeth next! __________________________________ im watching T concert right now and doing live blogging. Vesak Day holiday weekend.cikman picked me up in a had a goood sleep and the next morning, more of them starts to arrive and the prayers would be held at night. helped out at the kitchen and me, kakrin and kakyam wore our DB shirts and called ourselves...DB All-In-One-Services. We shift, we wash and we pack. went to the kolam and it was full of greeeenery. even the kolam air was green. dayum. took pictures and blabla. listened to kpop while doing everything. mother and father came when i was at the kolam and bibik as's family who terlajak to KL(inside joke) came in later. ahha. it was so fun. everyone helping out and all. watching teevee and had our own talks. gr8. oh yeah, we even took jumpshots too! tho some of them were like...phail but crap. i wanna have these kinda outings to kampung soon. hope this year raya would be at kampung. walked around minikelantan and city square before heading home thru the newly furnished johor customs. ahaha. bye! HELLO TIME SQUARE!
  changmin is all i see on this computer. ^^ and kiddis for the trip! so where did i stop? well to sum up sunday night...er. i could actually count how many girls wearing black at Time Sq mall. SRSLY. T_T so you can go figure how bored i was. went to that cozmo indoor theme park since waklong and mamad wanted to do the rides. SO. we waited at the lame area watching people go crazy on the roller coaster. T_T then again, i gotta remind myself that I AM on a trip with MY uncle&aunt. not on a TRIP with a grp of ppl who would rather SHOP/WALK AROUND than wait, sit down, watch people spinning/hear them screaming. T_T so yeah. today, Sunday. was the jemputan day. its errr...kaklong's husband's kampung in KL. k, i got the relations right nao. the wedding was okay. normal food. rendang, fried chiken, curry and acar. very simple. and for the bride and groom...they had prawns...steam fish....fruits and dishes fit for a king. we had a lil bit of everything bcus waklong took teh food for us. mmmm. somehow, seeing a kampung wedding reception is rili...cool. everyone helps out. the ladies would make sure everyone gets to eat...and the guys makes sure everyone gets a drink and a place to sit. its unlike Singapore where its mainly...the kendarats. even so, the helpers would be at the back and we cant see em at all. haha okay forget it. went to some cik's house and left for timesq, AGN in our baju kurung. yayz. T_T went to the My Star shop on lvl5...thanks to the girls on shineee's sbox. hohhoho. i was spzzzzing in that shop la. spent like 40RM there. who cares. i cant find these junks in SG. bought an airforce..yeah. thats all and WE HEADED FOR DINNER. gosh. shopping.....seemed so dull. geez. oh yeah, sadly..the baskin robbins....NO SNOWMAN BEANIE! boohoo. i was rili rilli rili hoping there is one..since i saw a BR outlet. dayummmmmm. had dinner at steak house and reached hotel at 11pm. anyway on the way to dinner...I FREAKIN SAW THE ROYALE BINTANG OMGGGG MEMORIES LA SEYYYHH! my first band trip...my first 5star stay.....my first time to KL...wowza. i miss my band trips. i love the trip to Shah Alam the most. ^^ I GOT LOTSA YT-ING TO DO. it loads darn slow here. zzzzz. okay gna start working soon too. lorl. byezz Labels: kpop, malaysia, shopping HELLO MALAYSIA!
im in KL right now...at...somebody's semi detached bungalow. k, so its apparently cikman's in law who's getting married ltr's house. idk if its the bride or the groom.so the midnight drive up to KL was... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ lah. cikman picked me up at 617 at ard 9pm after im done packing. picked up cik rahmah and their maternal nieces, Fazlin and Nabilah. twas totally akward at first but yeah, we're okay. picked nyai up and few of their other "waks" and off to KL. the drive was.....BUMPY! and uncomfortable. zzz. watched Penelope in the car otw in the asus. cool. some piggy show. reached the house finally at half past 4. HALF PAST 4 WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD BE UP IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AT 0430? me. slept on the parquet flooring while everyone else slept on a bed. i think. no, cikman and cikrahmah slept next to me. so, twas okay. k, rise and shine now. we're gonna check into some cheappo hotel ltr and do some sight seeing ard. MOTHER, JEMPUTAN IS ON SUNDAY LAHHHH HAIYOO MOTHER. and see, i didn't bring any small towel bcus mother said i didnt have to. well, off to seek shinee world for help!
