(other words, THE BIGGEST award of the night) i was pretty bummed that i couldn't get to watch it live. i could have watch it on TVants but.. it sucked so....YT/Daum was the only choice. aha. thank god for tech savy fangirls. :D anyway, i went for band at 9.30 lol was late. talked with mstan and the conductors..and did some planning for the band camp. I. CAN'T. WAIT! and my bad, i helped out the trb section at the last minute. so during combined, i was like damn blur reading the new piece. i could read...but i can't play. lol. hope to join them for combined at band camp! Overture for Winds or whatever the title is...is a nice song! ahah hope to hear it FULL end of the year. lotsa drama mama going on at band just now. oh well. they did drills and...THEY WERE SO CUTE MARCHING SO WRONGLY LIKE THAT. haha hope all that hours of drills pays off during the filming. ahah. GIMME MOAARRR!! well anyway. met Haniz at khatib last cabin and we reached Tanah Merah only at 5pm. and the concert starts at 5pm. tsk? rusheddddd and my ezlink was real low. tsk. took bus 31 and didnt know where to alight until we saw this huge pretty building which was apparently, ITE SIMEI or as the students call it, ITE COLLEGE EAST. cool. me and haniz thought it was some hospital. T_T made our way to the er, auditorium is it? yeah. collected our tickets and managed to grab a decent seat. they played pieces like Oregon, Loch Lomond, Jubiloso, Abba, Postcards, Pilatus and yeah. and after idk how many months of not listening to classical pieces, memories came back slowly. goshhhh. see la, what korea did to me. T_T the audience seriously had NO CONCERT ETIQUTTE. ergh. entering the hall in NF shorts and slogan tees with un-authentic birks. ergh. the crowd kept screaming, cheering and gave wolf-whistles. tsk. they had 2 encores. imagine, freakin 2 encores!!!!!! my goodness. my first concert with 2 encores. i was like, "will this ever end?" zzzzzz. poor conductor and band. anyhoos, i'd like to extend my well wishes to ITE Concert Band for having such a great concert and may you guys... you know... do even better. :) and yeah. Nysa! its been like months since us LoangNoi/Myspazz met up. ahahaa. pity uin couldn't make it. UIN I TELL YOU YOU REGRET NOT COMING I TELL YOU HAHAHAHA no la jz jokin kekekerrr~ went to tamp to have desserts and walked around. of all people to bump into at Tamp Mall, FADZLY. ahahahhaa. long time no see seh that fella. k bye. i'll end this post with a UFO reply from Changmin. hey~ so this week..has been a kpop week. ahahaha. hopefully, the kpop wave would hit every Singaporean. so we could welcome more popular acts to this lil' country. hahaa.im just hoping for a SM Town summer concert here. well, its summer all year round..so..SM is welcome anytime! ahhaa. hmm. what have i been up too lately besides checking out on the korean boys? mmmm. tv...eat..sleep. GOSH. what an unhealthy lifestyle. i need to get a life = i need to get a job! ah. i hate job hunting. oh well. im in need of cash. like, pronto! well. i'll try uploading pics from the concert+airport slowly..because this computer...so darn slow, all of a sudden. oh well. so..BigBang is out with their .... 2nd full length album, right? O_O, mianhe, im no hxc V.I.P. well. DBSK is out with Mirotic Ver C. which is sooooooooooooooooooooooo F/W(father/woman as claimed by Onew)! now the boys are into fedoras. ah. i feel like getting another hat. ahaha. what else... UKISS just performed their 2nd track off their mini album, Give It To Me. it was on Mnet! yesterday. WUAHHH SO HOT. alexander had his hair all pinned to the back... eli was on fire with this blondie hair. and the theme was...GOLD. woah. their jackets and shoes were totally pimpin! hmmm.. i guess that's all im excited about. ahaha besides dedicating 2hrs to CKT everyday! at least i get to hear 2PM saying, "Hi. We are.. 2P*eMMM*! We love Singapore. We love listening to CKT. 2PM, Hwaiting! CKT, Hwaiting!" ahaha kioopta~ OMO. i almost forgot. i went to the 34th NCO P.O.P just now with fiz, fiiz and fian. ahha. we reached there pretty late. once we reached, the BM's were playing the marching in song for the DMs to march in. TT__TT. and nicola was upfront, in the middle! she looked sooooo cute and petite in that blazin uniform along with the super tall mace. haha! once everything was over...we went searching for Nic who was as tho in search of someone. ahaha. then we looked for Shawn. wowwww. sooo happy to see them, "graduating" from NCO Camp. congrats guys! you've waited for quite some time for this day, i suppose? ahha. amidst all that commotion, me fiiz and nic were very lucky today. hahaha. thou shalt not reveal. aahah. had refreshments which was more of dinner and.. photoshoots. ahha. i miss my bandees. on a brighter note, hope i could help out for the day camp in december! :D oh. and otw back home at AMK's underpass, i had to miss a step and fall. gosh. these pretty green lonsdale slipper has caused me embarrassment, too many times! ahha. the other day at Outram mrt, i fell too.. zzzzzzzzz. today. john little was on my nerves. grrr. their informations were sooo misleading! one said this, and the other said that. grr.met the girlies at YCK since we were attending NYP's Sinfonique'08. and also to support our dear best guy friend, Syed Ridwan. ahah! he's in the 3rd Violins btw. its his first concert btw, and also my girlies first symphonic concert! (i was kinda scared to bring them along bcus you know.. they have yet to appreciate classical pieces! haha.) as soon as we reached.. the crowd was amazing. there were so maaaany people! (maklumlah.. free concert kan..). saw a few normal concert goers here and there. received the repertoire and boy, was i glad! they played Cappadocia, that same piece erm.. SP or Phil youth played during SIBF and also Gelato Con Caffe! its been awhile since i dance to that song. well, im no fan of strings.. but yeah. its okay. ahha. blablabla..watching the the violinist's strike their bow in unison, the double bass players pluck their strings precisely.. wow. strings are cool after all. blabla. then NYPWE. blablaaa NYPSO performed, at laaast. haha. there were good! at last i managed to watch the band who got 1st place during the competition in Vienna, the one hafiz participated in. hahaa. sad, didn't get to take a picture with my dear senior,hafiz! hahaa. went back with wan to the train, and left to meet the girls with zul. overall, it was a verrrrry intriguing concert. the encore...the emcee(s)...the annoying-no-concert-etiquette-crowd-kept-shouting...and the awesome band and conductor. wan, you played well! hope to see more of you and your coughcheaptapistandardpricecough violin!  *if all ribbons were like these, i'd buy like, 10 rolls and wrap myself.hellloooo. did i tell you guys that the ladies at great world city, are painted? its kinda the african theme. so you got an elephant head greeting you at the entrance of the toilet, and then once you enter the toilet, you see a statue of a cheetah growling welcoming you in. on the toilet walls, there are painting of elephants, giraffes and gazelles. on the doors of each individual cubicles, there's a tribal man/lady painted. so. kinda scary when you're alone in the toilet washing your hand looking into the reflection, you see someone else too. someone clad in a white cloth with gold bands and red face paint. you're never alone. geeeees. im scaring myself! haha. its not that scary anyway. met azhiim at macDs at khatib where i saw ama and gang studying. hohoho. azhiim needed someone to share his stories so why not. ahahaha. he and his never ending stories about his friends and classmates. oh well. look on the brighter side, sis. YOU'RE HEADING TO KOREA! tsk. whats with people nowadays. KLNFKLDSHG!! yes, im jealous. alllll jealous. okay im sooo torn in between for tmr. mother asked me along to attend the wedding of the year (NOT!!) at bedok. the jemputan for norfasarie and baihakki. zzzzzzzzz. and i wanna go watch the open division finals and the awards night ceremony at esp!! that was the piece Phillyouth played. or known as, cavetowns cappadocia. niceeee. well, lets start chrono.late late late. rushedddd to TRCC for the Singapore International Band Festival. forgot my lumix. boarded the train at khatib at 1230, where it just started and NIE would be the 3rd band. i was rushingrushing like lkfdjslfkdsgjd and had to meet zul at someplace idk to pass me a dollar. yes, a dollar. rushed to trcc, bought a ticket and found out fian alrd made a reservation for me so i bought the wole day pass for 10bux. mm. worth it. luckily once i entered the hall, niey was just about to start. so i missed ngeeann poly and RGS. oh well. and TRCC's hall is much better i must say. but. quite small. its not tooo long like VCH. but wth. the seats are comfortable. haha. then RI played. i swear their merry widow is the best i've heard. better than cedar girls! haha. :P THEN. phil youth played. er. that new msn trombone friend of mine, er john? yeah. he told me they're playing symphonic overture. woah. it was gooooooooooooooooooooooooood. and yes. philyouth was the sex just now. HAHA SERIOUS! their cavetowns too. dfklhgd. then RP... yadayadayda. i didnt find the Gloriosa nice. well, it just isnt my taste. haha. blablabla. what else ehhh nice. the OPEN DIV then. mm. ACSI was good too. i think. i slept through it. ahaha. then. the thailand band, assumption college lampang symphonic band. WOAH. the guys were H.O.T. okay! esp the 1st clarinetist. woah. their sound was great la. it was a huge band. i wasn't sleepy at all. haha. -_- mus'art bored me. ahaa. no offence. again, its because im not interested in the songs played. haha. except the heavenly flute and king song. oh yeah. watching my sec sch conductors performing was very cool. mrpan and mrong. they played wellll. esp mr ong. woah. should go back to band often and get him to teach me. hehe. then then then ACJC.... then the hong kong band and last, MARIST played. mmm. very nice. i liked their hymm to the sun. well. im just rushing this post thru because its 1am right now and i so have to sleep because i gota wake up early tmr. - scanned the crowd and saw familiar faces. and, yes i've found my irie-kun. HAHA. so yeah.the twas the results. i was seated with the NIE people. er because i was with fian and shawnee most of the time. so yeah. well. i felt soooo 'out' lah. because. i wasnt rooting for any band? haha. well, congrats to the gold bands, PHILHARMONIC YOUTH AND ACS(I)! ahaa. they deserved it. hmm. i know RPWS got 2nd in the DIV 1. congrats. ah wth. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALLLLL PARTICIPATING BANDS. today, was worth my 10bux. aaah. i so wanna attend this sunday's event laaaa. help! well. i was thinking about this just now, when i was in the toilet (haha). HOW DOES IT FEEL ACHIEVING A GOLD MEDAL? well. never in my life have i experienced a gold. when? those philyouth and acsi were sooooooo jubilant when they heard they got a gold. wish i could share their happiness as well. someday.. maybe. goodnight. |
